802 Tampines Fried Delight

Our choice of Tampines food to eat: Hokkien Prawn Mee, $5.50

The Hokkien Prawn mee is indeed very tasty, each plate is loaded with yellow noodles and thick bee hoon, drenched in a thick, umami stock. We also find the sambal chilli a good mix, not too spicy with a squeeze of Calamansi lime for extra fragrance.

White Carrot Cake, $3.00

While the Hokkien mee is typically more savoury, we also tried the carrot cake, a traditional Singapore favourite. We like the Wok Hei taste of carrot cake cooked just right, soft and fluffy with lots of egg.
