Looking for Tampines food to eat? Local coffee shop, 144 Brew Kopi, is opening its doors in Tampines this March!
A new coffee shop rarely takes off right from the start. Even rarer still, 144 Brew Kopi is located in a quiet location and a 10-minute walk from the Tampines MRT.
The business is bustling on opening day with many residents and office workers to eat food from this quiet Tampines corner.
Based on an existing food stall previously serving only Zi Char, Brew Kopi will offer a range of coffee and speciality drinks, as well as a selection of local delights from Zi Char, Carrot Cake, Ngoh Hiang to accompany their good Nanyang coffee.

What Food to Eat in 144 Brew Kopi Tampines
The coffee shop was open on 29 Mar 2022, offering a variety of Tampines food to eat from Zhi Char, Carrot Cake to Ngoh Hiang. We ordered coffee and the roasted Nanyang Kopi tastes good, thick and rich.
Old Street 60’S Signature Noodle
For chicken rice lovers, you gotta try Old Street Chicken Rice Value meals ($3.00; $3.80 for a set), as well as other choices of roast meat ($3.50), Herbal “Tian Qi” Dang Gui Duck ($3.50).
Mixed Veg Rice Porridge
Besides Cai Fan, the stall also serves sweet potato porridge with more than 20 choices to choose from as well as chef recommended dishes like rendang chicken, salted veg steamed fish and spicy sour pork ribs.
Nasi Lemak Bee Hoon
The nasi lemak also has a variety of sets all day, from Bee Hoon with Luncheon meat, fish cake, egg ($3.20 for a set) to Nasi Lemak with chicken cutlet, egg ($3.70 for a set)
I’m so Egg-cited
If you are craving for your afternoon tea, you can choose from a selection of pau and also Ham Toast, Bacon Toast.
Ngoh Hiang Prawn Cracker
From 3.30 pm to 9 pm, don’t forget to check out the ngoh hiang stall located at the corner if you are craving deep fry varieties served with bee hoon and chilli.
Hong Kong Street Jia Kee
There is also Zi Char with homely dishes for you to bring your family to feast with Curry Fish Head, salted egg pork ribs. Or if you like lighter, the Fish Head Steamboat will make for the ideal option
802 Tampines Fried Delight
Our choice of Tampines food to eat: Hokkien Prawn Mee, $5.50
The Hokkien Prawn mee is indeed very tasty, each plate is loaded with yellow noodles and thick bee hoon, drenched in a thick, umami stock. We also find the sambal chilli a good mix, not too spicy with a squeeze of Calamansi lime for extra fragrance.
White Carrot Cake, $3.00
While the Hokkien mee is typically more savoury, we also tried the carrot cake, a traditional Singapore favourite. We like the Wok Hei taste of carrot cake cooked just right, soft and fluffy with lots of egg.
